Transforming St. John's Entryway: Concrete Steps & Siding Revamp
Concrete Cleaning • St. John, Indiana
Over in St. John, Indiana, we took on a job for a homeowner prepping to sell the property. Originally, we were set to clean just the siding, but after checking things out, the owner decided it was better to spruce up the concrete steps and the door overhang too. The concrete steps had obvious dirt and grime, likely from foot traffic and weather over the years, making them look darker than they should.
We started with the siding, using a soft wash method to safely remove any dirt and mildew without damaging the surface. This technique works well for siding as it's effective at clearing away buildup while keeping everything intact. Switching over to the concrete cleaning, we used a higher pressure approach to get the job done. Concrete can handle it, and it really needed the extra force to break up the stubborn layers of grime on those steps.
The door overhang had collected a good bit of dirt and dust, probably being a catch-all for whatever the wind blew in over time. It was similar to the siding in terms of what we were dealing with, so we used the same soft wash process to clean it up. Once everything dried, the difference was clear. The house looked refreshed, making a better impression for potential buyers walking up to the property. Regular upkeep like this makes moving forward with big plans, like selling your home, a much smoother process.
